CPGP: Community Power Generation Project, will create EGS sites to generate power for local communities. It will be used in conjunction with the PPI to insure that all Texans have power resources that are not dependent on the TPG.
EGS: Energy Generation Stations, will utilize all available technologies to generate power for the CPGP.
HS Rail: High Speed Rail, is a Magnetic Levitation system that will be used for every form of transportation that roads and rails serve today. It will alleviate congestion, accidents, and pollution and it will be the conduit for power, cell phones, cable, and broadcast venues such as radio and television. Its design will also provide more efficient Emergency Evacuation solutions, Post-Emergency response solutions and be virtually storm and terrorist proof.
Power Generation Systems: Outline of the technologies and devices we will use to power Texas;
Double Helix Wind Turbine: Based on the Darrieus wind turbine, this design has been developed to the point that it is an extremely efficient energy generator. Using this design, combined with solar and magnetic technologies, I feel that the Double Helix turbine will be the key to our sustainable, non-polluting energy source. They would use existing "Windmill" towers and replace the windmill with chains of D/H Turbines. They can also be built on the corner edges (reduces wind sheer) of new High-Rise buildings and the roofs of new and existing ones. New towers would be built if this did not supply the entire needs of Texas. Some of the modifications I propose are patentable, I want the State of Texas to have at least a portion of the patent, so I cannot go into further technical detail at this time.
Methane Recapturing: Already some businesses have started to capture the methane generated by landfills. A good approach, but recycling the matter in the landfills would be a better solution. The best way to capture methane is from compost and sewage processing, in addition to the typical from sub-surface sources. Redesigning our Sewage Treatment Plants to break down sewage naturally will yield more methane and biological matter for fertilizer. Methane can be used directly as a low emissions fuel or broken down into carbon and hydrogen.
Solar Energy: We all know about Solar Panels, but new ways of solar energy conversion methods are beginning to emerge. One of the most promising is the new Solar Tape by Konarka Ind http://www.konarka.com/index.php/company/about-konarka/.
Solar-Hydrogen Hybrid System: This system uses Solar Panels to generate energy to power an electrolysis process to break water into oxygen and hydrogen. The hydrogen is stored and used only when there is not enough solar generation. The greatest thing about this system is that it is 100% pollution and toxin free, when hydrogen burns, it becomes water. The system is completely self sustainable, and in the event some hydrogen or steam is lost, just add water. You can get more information from the Hopewell Project website http://hopewellproject.org/.
Wave Generators: There are several different types of generators for both current and wave motion, all reasonable and effective devices should be utilized. The particular generator that I present here actually generates energy from wave motion by putting a magnetic float inside of a cage. When the waves cause the float to bob up and down the magnetic field of the float crosses the windings in the cage structure. Because momentum and magnetic resistance of the cage will put negative pressure on the float movement, it will also act to remove some of the waves energy, thus it will act like a wave surge moderator. If we align enough of these off the coast, it will diminish or completely cancel storm water surges. The process will both generate electricity and reduce damage caused by Hurricanes and other severe wave events.
PPI: Personal Power Initiative, this program finds ways to provide power generation on an individual scale utilizing all reasonable technologies.
TPG: Texas Power Grid, this is the main power generation and delivery system for the State of Texas which will be completely built, maintained, and operated by the TSW.
TSW: Texas State Workforce, is a State supported employment initiative that seeks to put every Texan to work, to the extent they are capable of, to implement all of the Public Works projects outlined on this site. It is based on the 1930's Civilian Conservation Corps and the US Military's Script payment programs.
